I love eating so I’ll probably write about some of the places I have tried in Manila or during my travels.
We were able to research about this place prior to going to SG because we saw a lot of posts about this café online. We were curious if the place and food was really worth the hype. Curious Palette is walking distance from Bras Basah or Dhoby Ghaut Station.
The interior of the place was really nice. It’s very comfy and homey. The place is not very big as I expected it to be but it doesn’t feel crowded. There were already a lot of people when we arrived even though it’s not peak hour.
We ordered their breakfast set and their famous Berry Ricotta Pancake.
We were so hungry when we arrived because we didn’t eat breakfast. We were told that the pancake will take 30 mins to prepare so we had to eat the breakfast set first.
As you can see on the photo, it’s not much. I am not sure if we were just hungry but it didn’t really fill up our stomach. There’s nothing special about the food, it tastes normal.
And then came the pancakes… It looks so good.
The taste of the pancake is more of a cake than a pancake. It’s topped with strawberries, blueberries and watermelon seeds. It was delicious. We were so full after eating this pancake because it was so thick and there were a lot of toppings on it. It looks good and tastes good. The pancake hype is real!!
And also, the place is very Instagram worthy. The lighting was nice inside so we were able to take good photos. So if you’re looking for #feedgoals, this cafe would also be it.
Would I visit again? Yes. I would come back for those pancakes!
